Kenneth Westfield
Chief of Medical Operations
President and Medical Director of the Westfield Eye Center in Las Vegas, NV. Dr. Kenneth C. Westfield, M.D is one of the founders and was the first medical director of the Nevada Eye Bank. After moving to Las Vegas, Nevada to start his practice, Dr. Westfield was the first Ophthamologist in the area to do cataract surgery in a free-standing ambulatory surgery center and conduct refractive surgery.
From 1982 to 1990, he serviced a large managed care contract successfully and was the first to serve under-served rural areas with satellite clinics in Mohave County, Arizona.
In addition to volunteering his time with FCLH, Mission Cataract USA and LIGA, a group of doctors who all parts of the world to administer medical care to the needy, Dr. Westfield teaches at the University of Nevada Department of Surgery and is also instructor of a course on Epikeratophakia. He belongs to numerous medical associations, including the American Academy of Ophthamology, American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the American College of Eye Surgeons, the National Medical Association and the American Intra-Ocular Implant Society.
During his free time Dr. Westfield enjoys traveling with his family; golf; and L.A. Laker’s basketball games.
